If it has been more than four years since your last visit to Alo Chiropractic, you'll also need to book a New Patient Consultation to ensure your medical history and clinical information are fully up to date.

For Sports Massage, your first 60-minute appointment includes a consultation before treatment begins, allowing your therapist to understand your medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals before providing personalised care.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Depending on the area being assessed or treated, you may be asked to remove outer layers of clothing. If your complaint affects your hips, legs, knees, or feet, we recommend bringing a pair of shorts to allow for a more thorough assessment and treatment.

In most cases, yes. Following your assessment, treatment is usually provided during your first appointment where it's clinically appropriate and safe to do so.

Occasionally, if your case is more complex or you have a significant medical history that requires further consideration, your practitioner may recommend delaying treatment until your second appointment. This ensures we have the time to fully assess your condition and provide the safest and most appropriate care.

If you've had any relevant scans, imaging reports, referral letters, or medical information relating to your current complaint, please bring them with you to your appointment.

If your symptoms affect your lower back, hips, legs, knees, or feet, we recommend bringing a pair of shorts to allow for a more thorough assessment and treatment.

Most importantly, come with any questions you may have, we'll take the time to answer them and ensure you feel comfortable throughout your appointment.

Every patient is different. Some people experience significant improvement after only a few visits, while others benefit from a longer course of care. Your practitioner will discuss their recommendations with you following your assessment, and any ongoing treatment will always be based on your individual needs and goals.

A chiropractic reassessment is required if it's been more than 12 months since your last appointment or if you're attending with a new complaint.

Yes. We offer free parking for patients at the clinic.

There are parking bays at the front of the property, as well as a small patient car park at the rear of the building.

If you're approaching from Gabalfa Roundabout, continue past the bus stop and take the next left onto Laytonia Avenue. Then take the first right into the lane to access the rear patient car park.
